This position is responsible for performing various aspects of field work and managing projects related to environmental and construction management and health & safety compliance; and developing new business opportunities. Work is performed under the general supervision of a Department Manager.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
· Serve as an Account Manager to multiple eCAP (Environmental Compliance Assurance Program) accounts in the Evansville, Terre Haute, and Vincennes region.
· Perform all tasks necessary to support accounts. Activities include, but are not limited to, perform audits; identify environmental and health & safety concerns at an industrial facility; formulate recommendations for environmental compliance; remediate deficiencies; file review and record searches; implement environmental and health & safety recordkeeping and reporting requirements; complete monthly onsite inspections; and maintain documentation.
· Provide 24 hour on-call technical support (as needed) to respond to specific compliance needs including agency inspections and spill response coordination.
· Act as a liaison between client and AME; maintain existing clients.
· Prospect and develop new business opportunities; identify proposal opportunities.
· Build relationships with key decision makers in target markets.
· Manage eCAP servicing accounts including budget, scheduling, field activities, client interaction, and preparing written reports and invoicing.
· Identify changes to the scope of work, discuss with August Mack project manager and onsite client, and execute change orders (if necessary).
· Perform regulatory and technical research as needed to support a project.
· Evaluate, select, schedule, and manage subcontractors.
· Responsible for client communication on all projects including closing the sale, explaining the scope and cost of work, presenting the project schedule, informing the client of possible problems, and explaining change orders.
· Document all field activities being performed in a field log including reporting on field techniques, locations of the work, and any relevant field observations.
· Write the final report for senior review including relevant environmental and health & safety observations, and conclusions/recommendations.
· Prepare job descriptions of successfully completed projects and update August Mack resume for marketing purposes.
· Communicate internally to secure work necessary to maintain a billable goal of 64 hours per 80 hour pay period (80% productivity).

· Learn job-related material primarily through verbal instruction, training, reading, researching and observation in an on-the-job setting.
· Document and organize while working on multiple projects.
· Work out doors in a variety of weather conditions.
· Climb ladders or steps where equipment is located, to reach objects on shelves, or to monitor machinery and equipment.
· Bend or stoop repeatedly or continually over time to make adjustments to equipment.
· Work safely without presenting a direct threat to self or others.
· Work closely and support others in a team environment.

Requirements:
This classification requires the use of a personal or company vehicle on company business. Individuals must be physically capable of operating the vehicles safely, possess a valid driver's license, have an acceptable driving record, and receive medical clearance from a baseline physical.
ACCEPTABLE EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING
Requires 3 years of environmental consulting experience and a bachelor's degree in civil/environmental/chemical engineering, chemistry, environmental science, or a related field. Some business development experience is highly desirable. Strong computer and verbal/written communication skills are a must. Other combinations of experience and education that meet the minimum requirements may be substituted.
