One of the key concepts that will continue to be reinforced by August Mack this year is to provide superior customer service to all of our clients. As many companies can attest, 2009 was not a stellar year by any means. Fortunately, due to our strong customer service and loyal clientele August Mack experienced consistent sales in 2009 compared to previous years and was able to end the year on a strong note. While August Mack had many triumphs in 2009, such as the establishment of partnerships with the 2010 NCAA Men’s Final Four, 2012 Indianapolis Super Bowl and TSE Consulting, we remain focused on the future by strengthening our core commitments.
Due to our efforts during the past several years, August Mack is extremely well-positioned to serve the environmental, health and safety (EH&S) needs of all of our clients. Our goal for 2010 is to further strengthen our focus on what makes August Mack different than other EH&S companies: technical expertise, innovation and responsiveness. For starters, our company is comprised of highly-trained technical experts who are well-respected and sought after in their respective fields. In fact, we have already confirmed countless speaking engagements at local, regional and national conferences for our technical experts this year. (Check out our confirmed speaking engagements for 2010 at http://www.augustmack.com/News/EventsCalendar.html.) We also plan on continuing to share our technical expertise in our monthly newsletter and Webinar program. This year, our technical experts are scheduled to host more than 70 webinars on a wide variety of EH&S topics. (Check out our scheduled webinars at http://www.augustmack.com/Webinars/Index.html.) It is our belief that our superior technical expertise allows us to better serve our clients by offering more options for problem resolution and more creative solutions as noted below.
August Mack is committed to providing innovative solutions to the EH&S needs of our clients. In all of our projects, we strive to develop an innovative approach that incorporates proven technologies with a client’s business needs. As entrepreneurs, we understand how every decision can impact the overall business and that’s why we are focused on working with our clients to develop the best, innovative solution possible for their EH&S needs. In the past 20 years, we have helped thousands of clients achieve innovative solutions that not only met their needs, but also met the requirements of local, state and federal regulations. As we continue to focus on providing innovative solutions to our clients in 2010, we plan to highlight these examples on our Web site on a monthly basis. (Read more about August Mack’s innovative solutions at http://www.augustmack.com/Approach/Index.html.)
Our third area of focus in 2010 is to continue to be responsive to the needs of our clients. Since the company’s founding in 1988, we have prided ourselves on providing our clients with the highest level of customer service possible and we plan to continue to do so. This year, we are committed to being responsive to the needs of our clients, whether it is promptly returning a phone call or e-mail, meeting a project schedule or providing emergency EH&S response services. We want to emphasize that we are always “on-call” and committed to developing a long-term partnership with all of our clients. Our clients are our first priority and we are committed to making each client feel like they are our only one, even though we serve hundreds of clients each year.
As August Mack focuses on 2010, it is only appropriate to highlight one of the changes the company experienced in late December 2009 with the relocation of the Indianapolis and Corporate offices. As many of you may know, the Indianapolis and Corporate offices had previously moved in May 2008 to 1200 N. Meridian Street in downtown Indianapolis. At this previous location, August Mack shared the building with another tenant, Brown Mackie College. Due to a variety of reasons, Brown Mackie College began experiencing tremendous growth and needed additional space to house their administrative offices and classrooms. After lengthy conversations with our landlord, we agreed to move one block north to 1302 N. Meridian Street. In our new location, we have more office space and serve as the first tenant in this redeveloped building. In the two months we have occupied this space, we have found it to be more conducive for our employees and clients. And, once again August Mack is pursuing Gold LEED Certification for Commercial Interiors from the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) for this office space.
Overall, August Mack looks forward to 2010 as being another strong year for the company filled with growth and excitement and not looking back!
