Plant Trees at Little Flower Catholic School
INDIANAPOLIS – November 21, 2011 - August Mack Environmental, Inc., a full-service environmental, health and safety (EH&S) consulting firm, is pleased to announce a successful tree planting day on Thursday, November 10, where employee volunteers helped to beautify the school grounds of Little Flower Catholic School and educate school children by planting three trees. Additionally, August Mack provided 25 tree saplings to members of its 1st & Green team for planting on their own property.
The Little Flower Catholic School tree planting event was in relation with the “1st & Green Challenge” put on by the Super Bowl Host Committee in effort to reduce carbon emission and water usage in Indianapolis. August Mack has been very involved with this community wide endeavor, including serving on the Super Bowl Host Committee, and maintaining a position on the leader board throughout the competition. The August Mack team is committed to community involvement in a wide variety of ways, such as taking this active role in making a positive impact on our local Indianapolis environment.
Little Flower Catholic School is an educational ministry of Little Flower Parish that exists to provide quality education for the Eastside and has been in existence since 1926. The school provides a safe, nurturing environment and a challenging academic curriculum with emphasis on the arts, which prepares students for higher education and helps them develop into confident, responsible citizens.
