Describe a typical day at August Mack.
A typical day as Project Manager for our Transaction services includes a variety of tasks. I speak with multiple clients throughout the day to provide project progress updates, issue proposals for new projects and provide solutions for environmental issues that arise during the transfer of commercial property. In addition to speaking with clients, a typical day includes managing multiple environmental site assessment (ESA) projects by communicating with the field staff conducting ESAs. A thorough review of information obtained through site inspections, regulatory file reviews, and local agencies is a daily process conducted to identify environmental concerns which may affect a client’s decision making process when acquiring commercial property.

What types of projects do you work on at August Mack?
I work on Phase I ESAs, Modified Phase I ESAs (MP-1s), subsurface investigations, asbestos surveys, indoor air quality monitoring projects, mold assessments and lead-based paint surveys.

What do you like most about working at August Mack?
I enjoy the variety of projects and services we provide along with the feeling of satisfaction that comes with providing a client innovative solutions to issues that can arise during an ESA.
