

Community InvolvementSince its founding in 1988, August Mack has been committed to giving back to the local community in which it operates and serves clients. The company has conducted United Way campaigns since 1990 and the principals are Key Club members supporting the United Way at the highest level. Additionally, August Mack has provided employee volunteers to a variety of organizations including the Horizon House, Noble Centers, Promising Futures (formerly known as Hamilton County Youth Services Bureau), the Mary Rigg Neighborhood Center, Meals on Wheels, Big Brothers/Big Sisters as well as the Boys/Girls Clubs. The company annually sponsors families during the holidays by supporting United Christmas Service and the Southeast Neighborhood Community Center. The company also makes countless charitable donations to a variety organizations, including the American Red Cross, Leukemia Society, Carmel Dad’s Club, American Cancer Society and various neighborhood groups. Additionally, August Mack has sponsored employee participation in Leadership United which trains employees to serve on non-profits boards. These individuals give back to the community by serving on boards that directly impact the communities in which live. August Mack employees student workers through the Corporate Work Study Program at Providence Cristo Rey High School, a private, Catholic, college-preporatory school exclusively for families facing economic challenges. Finally, August Mack annually performs thousands of dollars worth of pro bono projects to not-for-profit organizations to help them manage their environmental and property issues.
